I am a widely experienced, passionate pianist who specalises in the pop and jazz music of the last 100 years. My music has taken me to many prestigious venues including Casino de Monte-Carlo, Abbey Road Studios, Alexandra Palace, The National Space Centre, The Churchill, The Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel, Allington Castle,  Hyatt Regency and the Pennyhill Park Hotel. I have developed my craft over the last decade with residencies at venues such as Worthing Pier's Southern Pavilion and Brighton's famous Grand Hotel.

I am always happy to learn new requests for wedding ceremonies and will adapt my playing and style to your day. My repertoire will keep all your guests happy, featuring everything from American Songbook standards, to classic pop favourites, and many recent chart and movie hits too. I am a young and friendly, approachable, considerate player and I always enjoy what I do.

"As well as being a very good pianist, David was professional and friendly. We received many comments on the evening about how good his music was. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend David to colleagues and friends. He even played some space related tunes to fit our event! "

Would hire him again without hesitation. Such a lovely guy. Thank you for bringing a touch of class to our big day."

"David played for my 63rd birthday at the excellent Blanch House hotel in Brighton.  (Actually I was really 70 but keep it to yourselves.)  His ears would be burning if he heard the number of appreciative comments from my forty guests.  A wide repertoire of jazz and standards suited the occasion perfectly as did his personality and friendly engagement with the guests when he took a brief break.  His was a brilliant contribution to a very happy occasion, and I cannot recommend him too highly.  Thanks, David, so very much indeed."

From the initial contact, David was so thoughtful and really wanted to make our day special. He asked us for requests and offered other musical duties like putting the iPod on! He put us both at ease and our guests were very complimentary about his musical talents. The music was perfect for the setting. I have no idea how he dealt with all the children who instantly became musical enthusiasts but he graciously let them join him at the piano! An absolute star!"

"David played at my mums 80th party at the Grand hotel in Brighton which made a wonderful atmosphere for the event. He was able to bring a key board so we could have the piano played in the function room. He played a wonderful repertoire and everyone commented on how beautifully he played and how great it was to have a pianist at the event. It was a pleasure dealing with David to make the arrangements and I would highly recommend him for any event."

Karen Blatchford, 3rd Jan 2016

"David played the grand piano for our wedding on the 8th October at Horsted Place during the welcome drinks and canapés. His music created a wonderful background atmosphere against which our guests were able to relax and talk. During the photo sessions he followed us into the garden with his keyboard and continued to play despite the drizzle.
David played the songs we requested, some of which were new to his repertoire. One of our guests is a professional musician and she was extremely impressed by his skill set. I was impressed not only with David's music but also the professional manner in which he presented and played."

Naomi and Steve, 8th October 2016

Paul wanted to mention he especially loved your performance of Riders on the Storm, thank you so much for learning to play this one for us, it made his day! We had quite a few laughs too from our guests about the Imperial March. Thank you for making our wedding day all the more special, we wish you all the best in the future and would not hesitate to recommend you to any of our friends. Hope to catch you playing at the Pier sometime soon, our little boy was disappointed you were not playing when were last there!"

Adriana and Paul, 17th September 2016

Everyone commented on how fantastic he was, and we really couldn't agree more."

Everyone was commenting on how wonderful you, and the whole experience at the South Pavilion was. So, thank you for helping to make my birthday such an amazing evening.. almost worth being 50 for!"

Diane Cantrell, 16th Jan 2016

"David is a talented young pianist whom has played regular lunch time sessions here at Brick Kiln Garden Cafe near Chichester, since April 2016. He plays with elegance and fluidity and is extremely melodious. He’s always a very polite and pleasant young man. Reliably and suitably dressed. He interacts well with our lunch time customers,  continuing to play whilst holding enthusiastic conversation with them! He is proving to be quite popular! We hope to continue working with David for many years to come."

Vicky Smith, 15th July 2016

"David was an absolute pleasure to have as part of our wedding day. He was an professional from start to finish. He was fantastic to work with prior to the wedding, and truly went the extra mile for us by learning a new and unusual piece for our 'here comes the bride' aisle walk plus he was 100% receptive to the playlist we asked him to put together. We had so many comments on David's playing during and after the wedding day; he played beautifully and his repertoire fitted perfectly with our wedding, which was a bit more alternative and quirky. David's style was also fresh and unpretentious, which is so different to many of the more stuffy pianists we've seen at other weddings. We honestly cannot recommend David enough; we were so particular about our wedding day and wanted everything to be perfect, and David absolutely delivered. Thanks so much David!"

Faye and Bradley, 7th May 2015
